Every 29th day of September, I celebrate my Birthday. This year won’t be different; because I have every reason to celebrate the new age God has given me. Indeed am growing older, but also getting better. To mark this year’s celebration in an ‘artistic’ way, I decided to apply one of my recently acquired skills, and design/ launch my personal website; all with the motive of sharing my thoughts with you. Many lessons were learnt this past year, many more to be learnt in the years to come; and what better way to share them with you than through the articles and posts I will be sharing.
The past year was filled with surprises, delays, challenges and breakthroughs. But despite the difficulties of the year, God; and indeed you, stood by me. I haven’t gotten to where I hope to be yet, but am definitely not where I started off. I know this cause the difference between where I am now and where I use to be, gives a positive value. Even my age is now a +1.
It is said that “a bird that dances by the road side has its drummers in the nearly bush”.
As the bird in this context, I will want to acknowledge the support of all those who have enabled me dance to various success tunes; God Almighty, my awesome mother and siblings, my friends (which you are a part of). You all have been wonderful drummers, thank you very much. I promise to keep dancing, as long as you keep playing…
I wish myself a Happy Birthday, and many more years of great achievements. I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I know who holds the future; and He that holds the future says “His plans for me are of good, not of evil, to bring me to my expected end”.
Thank you for your best of wishes, your gifts are welcomed at any time of the year. I just hope you enjoy the piece of the cake which I will share in form of my articles. As a believer of humble beginnings, I decided to put up a simple web-design, and kick off with few posts, which will be published simultaneously with this birthday message of mine.
Thanks for joining in the celebration…
